The All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, Gen.
Muhammadu Buhari, his running mate, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo and
APC national leaders will today storm Ilorin, the Kwara State capital,
in continuation of the party’s presidential campaign rally.
The Kwara State Governor, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed, called on
residents to come out in their large number to welcome Buhari and
other APC chieftains at Metropolitan Park in Ilorin.
In a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Alhaji Abdulwahab Oba,
the governor asked the residents to join the “train of change.”
He said the next presidential election was not about individuals,
religious belief or ethnicity, but about the destiny of all Nigerians.
Ahmed said the election was about eradicating poverty, ensuring
safety of lives and property and providing sustainable jobs for the
nation’s teaming youths.
