President Goodluck Jonathan on Monday received the forensic audit
report of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation carried out by
PriceWater House Cooper in Aso Rock Villa at a short event.
The report was made available to President Jonathan by PWC’s
country senior partner, Uyi Akpala and the Risk and Quality Leader for Africa, Gabriel Ukpeh.
The audit was ordered by Nigeria’s minister of Finance Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala after a former governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi disclosed that over $60 billion was stolen by NNPC officials in collusion with some local oil companies.
